Very cozy place to have a drink. Just let the bartender have a smoke if you walk in while hes walking out. This is a small unique bar with fun decor by the sea in Mendocino. It's a hangout spot for the locals. For your entertainment they have darts in the back room, an old fashioned jukebox, and large screen TV playing sports channels. The beer selection is decent and the staff is friendly.

Nice view from the bar! Cool that I can bring my little dog! Not a very clean bar atmosphere, little dive bar where you can see the few TV's and watch sports, you can enjoy the beautiful Oceanside views as I did enjoying a glass of wine.

Great local bar

Probably my favorite bar on the planet. This bar is cash only, lots of fun, good service, and a killer view of the ocean just outside. Also, it’s dog friendly which is awesome. Every time I’m in Mendocino, I come here for some drinks and music. I love it here.

It's just a bar in a nice neighborhood

The bartender, I think his name was Zeb, was so friendly and talkative chatted with everybody that came in the bar and really made the experience pleasant. I love local dive bars and this one was perfect

My wife found this on some list as the Dive Bar wth the best view in the US, so naturally we had to grab a drink here while in Mendocino. Definitely lives up to that reputation, great view facing south over the bluffs. Friendly staff with fairly stiff drinks. Pretty cool local vibe here, definitely not many tourists like us ventured in. They have an awesome miniature model of the bar that is stunningly accurate. Lots of great historical photos on the walls. Definitely the best place in town to grab a drink.
